ROI Society and Pallazola Law Team Up

A desk with an open laptop, two coffee mugs, a notebook and folders, ready for a new law firm launch

ROI Society and Pallazola Law are teaming up. Pallazola Law is a new firm owned and run by my wife, Wen, and it is starting with immigration law. ROI Society is the contracted agency helping her get it off the ground: we run the firm’s marketing campaigns and build its case management software.

That makes Pallazola Law the first firm on the software, so we can fine-tune it in a real practice before our clients get it.

Key Takeaways

  • Wen, an attorney, owns and runs Pallazola Law. ROI Society is a contracted agency for the firm’s marketing campaigns and case management software.
  • Pallazola Law starts with immigration law, a federal practice, so it can serve clients across the U.S. It is built to grow into other practice areas.
  • Pallazola Law is the first firm to use our new case management software, so we can fine-tune it before we offer it to other firms.
  • We will offer useful findings and features from the firm to ROI Society clients, in immigration law first and other practice areas later.

Wen owns and runs the firm, and ROI Society is the contracted agency

Pallazola Law is Wen’s business. She owns it, runs it and makes every legal decision. We work for the firm as its contracted agency, and the table shows who handles what.

Pallazola Law is the first firm on our new case management software

Pallazola Law is the first firm to use the case management software we are building. The software is part of our push to make ROI Society more than a marketing agency, and the firm is its first real use case. We will fine-tune it there before it is available to our clients.

The software starts with immigration case types and is built to extend to other practice areas.

Lawyers know the law, and running a business is a second job

In my experience, practicing law and running a firm are two different jobs, and the business side is one of the places lawyers struggle. They know how to do the legal work, but they are not business people first.

Clio’s law firm benchmarks put the average utilization rate, the share of an 8-hour day spent on billable work, at 38% in 2025. That is about 3 billable hours a day. The rest of the day goes to work nobody bills for.

I think my business background and Wen’s legal background make a strong team. The law and the firm are hers; ROI Society brings the marketing and the software.

We are building Pallazola Law’s marketing and automations on the most AI-assisted foundation we can, to cut wasted time and avoid wasted spend from mismanagement. It is the same approach as the AI-assisted system we run on at ROI Society.

Pallazola Law starts with immigration law and is built to grow

Pallazola Law is starting with immigration law and set up to serve clients across the U.S., because immigration law is federal. Under 8 CFR 1.2 and 8 CFR 292.1, a lawyer in good standing with the bar of any U.S. state can represent clients before the federal immigration agencies.

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services explains the rule on its Legal Services page, last reviewed in August 2026. Immigration courts use the same definition of attorney (8 CFR 1001.1(f)), plus a registration step (8 CFR 1292.1).

The firm is built to grow into other practice areas from there.

ROI Society is growing past marketing, starting with Pallazola Law

We will bring what we learn at Pallazola Law, and the features we build there, to our clients next: immigration practices first, then firms in other practice areas.

If you run a firm and the business side takes more of your week than the law does, tell us where it is stuck.

FAQ

Does ROI Society own part of Pallazola Law?

No. Wen owns and runs Pallazola Law. ROI Society is a contracted agency that handles the firm’s marketing campaigns and builds its case management software. ROI Society does not share in legal fees, give legal advice or practice law.

Does Pallazola Law only handle immigration cases?

Pallazola Law is starting with immigration law and set up to serve clients across the U.S. The firm is built to grow into other practice areas over time. The case management software follows the same plan, with immigration case types first and other case types later.

Can other law firms use the case management software?

Not yet. As of October 2026, Pallazola Law is the first firm to use it while we fine-tune it. Once it is ready, we plan to offer it to ROI Society clients, starting with immigration practices and later firms in other practice areas.
